Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
The 2015 Dry Diggings blend is medium to full-bodied with dense fruit and structure on the palate. Its velvety tannins are complemented by fresh acidity and minerality on the finish. On the nose, dark red and blue fruits dominate the senses with tertiary notes of tar, lead pencil, dried herbs, and a long dusty road.
Winemaker's Notes
The 2015 vintage varies from its predecessor in that it spent 23 months in French oak versus 18-month last vintage. Additonally, it saw no new oak for the first time ever prior to being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
